'Be mine' is actually what we could call a love song that describes a man's suffering when he faces the fact that by no means he could be the man of the one he loves... though it may at first seem to be the usual love ballad, the musical conclusion of 'be mine' may be the reason that will make you listen to it till the end. Musically Xbreed shows in that title that they are also capable of exploring other musical railways, full of feelings that tear us at least once in our lifetime. BUSY, BUSY! Xbreed is suddenly under the spotlights...Several concerts are programmed and their second single, 'Be mine', has touched a larger public than what was first expected. Be mine is on Radio1 since last Wednesday and it seems that through this song Xbreed shows how they have evolved since their first single, 'Smile'. They managed to find a compromise between that surplus of energy that flows through their veins and those melancholic melody lines that live inside them. 'It's not Coldplay, it's not U2, But those guys will soon reach that level..!!!' Those words come from a famous radio animator and Dj of the island, Patrice d'Avrincourt... Of course, the guys - though they are happy to hear such positive vibrations- will know for themselves that they are a million light years away from those giants of international music, but it helps them to feed much bigger ambitions. Concerts ... After a most convincing performance on Friday at the Lite Bar, Xbreed has been approached by the 'Centre Charles Baudelaire' to play the first part of french band 'Les hurlements de Léo''s concert on Saturday 29th. Xbreed song info (the song and its lyrics are properties of xbreedsupersoul) This song is called 'supersoul'...It has been written and composed in 2004 when singer , Vincent, thought about writing a song that could sound like a theme for a super hero movie! By that time, however, a lot was being said about how our planet was being destroyed by us. It might explain the nature of the lyrics. When it was finally presented in its raw form to the 4 other members, lead guitarist, Roro, created an inspiring guitar background that adds to the emotional nature of the song that ends up however with blasting electric guitar riffs illustrating the anger and revolt that come after melancoly and regrets. Xbreed back on stage. We all knew it would not be easy, though we thought that at last Xbreed's live would be released during the month. The live recording is ready and finally mixed but the five members of the band have another step to climb in order to reach their goal : they need to find Rs 65,000 in order to produce the minimum of 1 thousand copies. They are presently searching for sponsors but the best way to achieve their destiny is to make music... That's why two concerts are planned at the end of October and beginning of November. The first one will be held at Arena Discotheque in Flic en Flac on the 31st of october. On the 5th of November... Big day!! Concert at le Morne starting from 1.00 PM with house music (Ramik17 and Dj Lebo) and concluded by two rock concerts: Kelp(another mauritian Rock band, willing and very talented) and ...Xbreed!!
